“Spring” oil on canvas, 70x90cm 2016

The composition is based on the opposition and interaction of impressionism, realism and abstraction. The central element is a girl’s shirt permeated by the sun. Fine elaboration of fabric folds, nuances of reflexes and shadows, flashes of light – all together it allows to create a very realistic figure in an impressionistic manner. Background structures are painted abstractly, on the contrasts of pulsating color spots.
