The artist comes to still life not by chance. Having plunged into a still life, having tested yourself with a still life, you begin to see and understand a lot as a still life, even a landscape or a portrait. Genre is a form of expression of the author’s idea, but not its content. A special “still life vision” is, first of all, a worldview, a philosophical understanding of the environment.
