Last dance (oil on canvas/80x90cm/2011)
I was always amazed that the bull goes to fight only once in his life, this fight is the first and last for him. Even if the bull survives, which happens infrequently, he will never enter the arena again. And if he wins and kills the matador, he will face certain death. Therefore, this is somehow the culmination of his short life, the moment in which everything came together for him. It is filled with the energy of life and the fury of anticipation. Half a ton of embodied power. The trumpet sounds and the last dance begins.
